Walther makes a pretty fine handgun in my experience but they can be finicky. Major and minor components with a bright salt blue, with the locking block in-the-white. My first impression with the P1 is that it was sort of complex in comparison to more recent designs with lots of springs and thing. Magazine marked “P.38” near bottom of left side. Fitted with black plastic checkered grips, left panel rectangularly recessed for the lanyard ring, each internally marked with four encircled codings.
